Armor Penetration (AP) | The enemy has armor; if your ArPen is not better than the enemy’s armor, you do less damage. The lower your ArPen stat, the more it feels like you’re wailing on the enemy with a wet noodle. ArPen directly translates into restance ignored. You dont need more than -60% resistance ignored. Most monsters wont go over that number. |
Critital Strike | Critical Strike, which will increase your % chance to land a critical hit. |
Power | The higher the power, the better the swing you're doing and so giving more damage. Power (not to be confused with Powers) Increases your damage and healing. This amount is modified on a per-power basis. Power is one of the key stats associated with Gear Score. |
Recovery | High Recovery means your Encounters come back faster, which means you earn Dailies faster. More powers mean more versatility and damage. |
Life Steal | Found almost exclusively on weapons, Life Steal is a stat that allows a certain percantage of your damage dealt to be returned as hit points.Life steal is highly recommended to have for any class in melee range. |
Movement | Movement is a stat found almost exclusively on boots and increases your run speed by a percentage. Run Speed Bonus increases this stat further. |
Regeneration | Health Regeneration is a stat that increases the percentage of your max Hit Points you regain every 3 seconds. The full bonus is given when Bloodied, and diminishes the closer you are to your maximum hit points. |
